What is SMP Mirror?
A private tool that shows what scalp micropigmentation (SMP) could look like on your own face. Upload one photo and see three hairline shapes: Straight, Rounded and Mature.
What do I get for free?
One low-res, watermarked preview in the Rounded shape, dark shade. No account needed.
What do the paid options include?
$14 USD gets one shape you pick (Straight, Rounded or Mature) in HD, in a light and a dark shade: 2 images. $34 USD gets all 3 shapes in HD, light and dark of each: 6 images side by side. One-time payment, no subscription.
I bought one shape. Can I upgrade to all 3?
Yes. On your results page you can upgrade for $20 USD, the difference between $34 and $14. We make the 4 images you don't have yet (the other 2 shapes, light and dark), so you end up with all 6. The upgrade is available while we still have your original photo: until 60 minutes after your HD images are finished.
What happens to my photo?
We strip location data, then send it to Google's Gemini API to create your images. The original is deleted 24 hours after upload if you don't buy, or 60 minutes after your HD images are finished if you do. Images auto-delete after 7 days, and you can delete everything at any time with one button.
Is my photo used to train AI?
No. We use Google's paid Gemini API, which does not use prompts or images to improve Google's products. Google keeps requests for up to 55 days only to detect abuse; see our privacy policy for details.
Do I need an account?
No. No password, no phone number. If you pay, Stripe asks for your email for the receipt.
Are the results exactly what SMP will look like?
No. These are AI illustrations to help you picture a hairline shape. Real results depend on your skin, your artist and your treatment plan.
What if an HD image comes out wrong?
Each HD image has one free redo while your original is still stored: until 60 minutes after your HD images are finished. If something is badly wrong, email us.
Can I get a refund?
If your HD images can't be generated, email us and we'll refund you (for an upgrade, the $20 upgrade payment). Because the images are delivered immediately, we don't otherwise offer refunds, but we'll always look at a problem.
Which hairline shape is right for me?
Straight is a defined front line with crisp corners. Rounded is soft and natural with low corners. Mature is the same curve set higher with deeper temple corners, which suits many men in their 40s and up. Seeing all 3 side by side is the easiest way to decide.
